Front Mission 2 Remake

Developer Storm Trident and publisher Forever Entertainment have announced that the remake for mech-based tactical RPG, Front Mission 2, will be coming to PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One on April 30. The game will be priced at $34.99, and currently also has a demo available for the PC version on Steam. Check out the trailer making the announcement below.

Originally released back in October 2023 on the Nintendo Switch, Front Mission 2: Remake features enhancements over the original in both visuals as well as gameplay. The game, a remake of the 1997 PlayStation tactical RPG, revolves around three characters—Ash, Lisa, and Thomas.

Some of the enhancements in Front Mission 2: Remake include updated music and effects, faster load times by taking advantage of more modern hardware, and support for other languages in its dialogues and menus. The game has also seen updates since its release, including one in November, which brought fixes to the in-game cutscenes and rebalanced the game’s difficulty.
